Welcome to Chitown Food Trucks LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, website, mobile applications, and any bookings made through our platform.
By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Overview
Chitown Food Trucks LLC provides:
- Food truck catering services
- Event booking and coordination
- Online food ordering (if applicable)
- Vendor partnerships and logistics
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.
2. Eligibility
By using our services, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You have the legal authority to enter into agreements
- All information you provide is accurate and complete
3. Bookings & Payments
3.1 Booking Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability
- A booking is only confirmed after receipt of deposit or full payment
3.2 Deposits
- A non-refundable deposit (typically 25%–50%) may be required
- Deposits secure your event date and food truck(s)
3.3 Final Payment
- Full payment must be made prior to the event (typically 24–72 hours before)
- Failure to pay may result in cancellation of services
3.4 Pricing
Prices are subject to change based on:
- Guest count
- Location
- Duration
- Custom menu requests
4. Cancellations & Refund Policy
4.1 Customer Cancellations
- Deposits are non-refundable
- Cancellations within:
- 7 days of event: up to 50% of total may be charged
- 48 hours of event: up to 100% may be charged
4.2 Company Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to:
- Weather conditions
- Safety concerns
- Equipment failure
- Vendor availability
If we cancel, a full refund or rescheduling option will be offered.
5. Event Requirements
The client is responsible for:
- Providing safe and adequate space for food trucks
- Ensuring access to the location (permits, parking, etc.)
- Providing electricity if required (unless otherwise agreed)
- Compliance with local laws and ordinances
Failure to meet requirements may result in service limitations or cancellation without refund.
6. Food & Safety Disclaimer
- All food is prepared in compliance with local health regulations
- We are not responsible for allergic reactions; customers must disclose allergies in advance
- Cross-contamination may occur
7. Vendor & Third-Party Services
- We may partner with independent food truck operators
- We are not liable for:
- Vendor delays
- Menu substitutions
- Independent contractor actions
However, we strive to ensure quality and professionalism.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Chitown Food Trucks LLC is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits or business
- Event disruptions beyond our control
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chitown Food Trucks LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of our services
- Violation of these Terms
- Event-related incidents under your control

10. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, logos, and materials are the property of Chitown Food Trucks LLC and may not be used without written permission.
11. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
12. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay due to:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Pandemics
- Acts of God
- Labor disputes
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be:
- Attempted to be resolved informally
- If unresolved, handled through mediation or arbitration in Illinois
